Conceived by clarinetist Alex Ward as a high-volume electric quartet with loose touchstones including Prime Time, Last Exit, 70's Miles Davis, Swans, no-wave etc.

Forebrace recorded two albums between 2013 and 2016: "BAD FOLDS" (2013, Copepod Records) constructed from directed and free improvisations plus compositions invented on the spot in the studio and "STEEPED" (2016, Relative Pitch Records) recorded live at Cafe Oto and the Vortex in London.
