CARDOSANTO
Named after a legendary psychotropic plant, seminal Italian band Cardosanto existed between 1994 and 2002, inhabiting and thriving between the cracks of rock'n'roll where noise and organised sounds feed into each other.
Born and bred in the isolation of a small town on the Italian north-west coast, Cardosanto created a tightly composed instrumental melting pot that combined the impact of noise rock, the energy of punk, modern jazz inventiveness and a visionary approach to composition.
In 2014 the band temporarily reformed for a number of gigs following the re-issue of Pneuma.
